The Restaurant

Fusing contemporary design with the care-free spirit of the 1970s, Ajoblanco is our flagship restaurant on the mythical Calle Tuset, the epicenter of Barcelona´s most exciting restaurant and nightclub scene. Metamorphosing from a professional, laid-back atmosphere at lunch into a glamorous and lively night spot for cocktails and dinner, we offer a modern Mediterranean menu and use the freshest, seasonal products.

About us

When we opened Ajoblanco in 2014 we simply tried to open the kind of restaurant that we would like to live near to. We included our favourite tapas dishes perfect for sharing plus what we do best - amazing Spanish meat and the freshest fish all accompanied by spectacular cocktails and an extensive Spanish wine list. To this we also added a beautiful and inviting space, great music and have put together a friendly and attentive team all dedicated to making our customers happy.

We pride ourselves on sourcing the best products from the Iberian Peninsula. This includes locally grown fruit, vegetables and grains, daily deliveries from Catalonia’s most famous fish markets and the most succulent meat from Northern Spain.

Wine

Ajoblanco´s wine list offers a magnificent chance to explore the many regions of Spain. We list something for all tastes and place a particular emphasis on Catalunya´s exciting vineyards which offer biodynamic and natural wines. There are a number of wines available by the glass which change monthly as we like to showcase up and coming bodegas.

The Bar

Our dynamic cocktail bar is manned by award-winning mixologists who offer the latest in cocktail innovations as well as Barcelona’s iconic Gin & Tonics. A carefully selected list of local wines and beers as well as premium aperitifs and digestives make it a great place to decompress after a hard day, or to start or finish a night out.
